It's officially Summer! Hooray! Unlike many other fitness businesses, we do not close classes over the summer holidays. We have a team of instructors, who are able to cover for each other, making sure you can keep your fitness up year round, no matter who goes on holiday!
There's a fair amount of external upheaval over the summer. Chinnor Village Hall is being redecorated and St Andrew's School is having a roof repaired and asbestos removed - typically both at the same time! On the days we cannot be moved within the usual site (small hall in the Village Hall and Manser Hall at St Andrew's), we have secured the Village Hall in Kingston Blount. It's not too far away and there is plenty of parking space. It also has lovely big doors to open onto the playing fields on warm days. These changes will be listed on Punchpass, so please keep a close eye on the timetable towards the end of July and through August. There will also be cancellations to all classes on July 4th at Haddenham Village Hall for the Election.
Jazzercise Inc is rolling out some new software for booking classes and taking payments. They have just started the process in the USA and Europe is scheduled to start some time after August. It looks very similar to Punchpass, but will be a dedicated Jazzercise platform, so we think it will integrate more smoothly with the international website and class calendar, and have more information about special offers, events and formats. If you can check your email and contact details are all correct, that's all that is needed for now. I'll let you know in good time before any further action is required.
Finally, I keep forgetting to share some great news with you - we are now officially the Number 2 Franchise in the UK! We received the Silver President's Club Award in March (there was so much going on with the Jazzerthon, the news got lost) and we rank in the top 20 franchises in our territory of Europe. This is a great achievement in challenging times and is totally down to our wonderful Members who have supported us for so many years. It's also a testament to the team of Instructors who deliver high quality, professional and fun classes every time they teach. Pats on the back all round!
